Random Acts of Kindness List

Lovely

Kindness Blog

Nathan wrote: This video is about a list I made of seven good deeds and I spent the past week doing all of them. I then passed the list to every person I did a good deed for so they could do the next one on the list for another person. Thanks for watching.

Please help share this video on Facebook or Twitter to spread the list across the internet.

(If the list doesn’t show up for you check back later, I’m working on getting a website where it will be easier, but for now this is what I’m using. It should work though.)

New story cards are on the cards at LBF

Some story card drawings for the little BIGs.
I’m quite excited by the concept- the kids will each pick a card, & collectively make up a story by combining them. We will write the story & the kids will illustrate ‘their’ page themselves. Put it all together & a copy for each of the kids. Perfect!
The drawings are Unfinished and there are more to come, but here are some tasters.

Some new books to sink my brain into!

brain books I’m pretty excited. Spark is specifically about exercise & the brain, and brain rules should be a FANTASTIC read, Dr Medina is simply great, not many people can give such and interesting and succinct account of how we are wired and how to maximize or at least understand the potential of our brains.

Y is for YOUR response

Y is for YOUR responsebe ready to provide timely and appropriate responses to your childs attempts and achievements. Remember, we learn much more readily with positive feedback than negative, and your responses are vital to your child, after all, you are their most influential role model.
